RIHANNA TAKES IT EASY IN 2008

Rihanna plans to take it easy for the rest of 2008, so she doesn’t feel like the exhausted zombie she was at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
The 20-year-old singer admits she barely remembers picking up an award at the 10 February (08) ceremony, because she was so tired.
And she’s determined to enjoy some of her success this year, telling Elle magazine, “I already told everyone in my camp, ‘This year, I’m not going to work like a horse.’
“In 2007 I didn’t really get to enjoy anything that I achieved, because I was moving, moving, moving.”
She admits she couldn’t even take in her Grammy night success for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration - even when partner Jay-Z asked her how she felt.
She adds, “Jay was asking me, `How does it feel? How does it feel? How does it feel?’ I was like, ‘When I get home and I lock my room and there’s silence, I’ll tell you how I feel then.’”

Rihanna and Chris Brown left onlookers in no doubt they’re an item as they kissed each other tenderly on the lips during a romantic night out…..at a KFC restaurant. Fellow diners watched in amazement as the R & B singers, who refuse to admit they’re a couple, wandered into the fast food restaurant in Miami, Florida, shortly before closing time. Umbrella singer Rihanna, 20, wrapped her arms around 19-year-old Brown as they stood at the counter waiting for their order. Earlier, they had been on a mammoth two-hour spending spree at the ultra-exclusive Bal Harbour shopping centre.

Rihanna has moved a step closer to confirming her relationship with R+B star Chris Brown, by admitting they are “very close”.
The pair have frustrated fans and the press by refusing to speak out about their relationship - despite being inseparable for months, and even holidaying together in the Caribbean.
Speaking to Elle magazine, Rihanna, 20, stops short of confessing her love for 19-year-old Brown - but she admits they are more than just friends.

The Umbrella hit maker says, “We’ve always been friend. But we’re very close now.”

Rihanna says she loves the showbiz world and the fame but she doesn’t like ‘Tad Hamiltoning’ it all the time.

She says that she hates pretending to be a “bubbly person” all the time, especially when she feels miserable inside.

She says, “I love what I do but, yes, this stuff does start to take its toll on you. Sometimes you get really miserable and on the edge, but people don’t know why you’re acting like that.

“You always want to be kind to people, so you’re forced to be a bubbly person, but, to be honest, sometimes I’d just like to sit in a corner by myself and be quiet.”

Can you imagine having to smile all the time? That would hurt! The one minute you get caught frowning, everyone starts calling you a bitter bitch. But like they say, that’s the price you pay for fame, right?

Rihanna christens the deluxe new GOOD GIRL GONE BAD:RELOADED two-disc package with a new single, “Take A Bow.” The number one most requested song on the internet, is available on I-Tunes today. “Take A Bow” was written by fellow Def Jam artist Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate, same team responsible for Rihanna’s “Unfaithful,” her #1 smash of 2006; and “Hate That I Love You,” her Top 10 duet with Ne-Yo released late last year. The video for “Take A Bow,” directed by Anthony Mandler, went into immediate large rotation on both MTV and VH-1.

The original 12-song CD configuration of GOOD GIRL GONE BAD – source of the non-stop string of hit singles that began with the MTV VMA and Grammy Award-winning global #1 hit “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), then “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You” (featuring Ne-Yo), and the current “Don’t Stop the Music” – will now be augmented with four bonus tracks: 1) “Take A Bow”; 2) a cover version of Maroon 5’s “If I Never See Your Face Again” (featuring Maroon 5); 3) “Hatin’ On the Club”; and 4) “Disturbia.”
