The “Good Girl Gone Bad” songstress recently tried to clear up rumors about her supposed relationship with R&B singer Chris Brown. She told press, “I won’t say we’re just friends. Me and Chris are really best, best friends. We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry … I trust and hang out with all the time.”

Making sure everything was crystal clear, she added, “We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that.”

The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, is still going strong at age 59. She recently took time to talk about her shows, taking up painting and the notorious moaning on her 1975 hit “Love To Love You Baby.” Following is an edited transcript.

Q: You’ve won multiple Grammys. Any favorites among this year’s winners?

A: I love Amy Winehouse — she’s great, so different. I pray for her that she gets over her drug problems — it’s rough. But she can do it — she’s got so much going for her.

I love Rihanna — she’s a hot little number. She’s got a really good look, a good sound — she’s working it. But usually by the time I like something, my kids say, “Mom, that’s been out for six months!”
