Rihanna: I sometimes only eat once a day

Rihanna has revealed that she’s very strict about what she eats.

‘Carbs are the enemy but if I go 3 days without them, I start getting weak. I sometimes only eat once or twice a day,’ she admits.

Although only a tiny size 6-8, the singer says she still has insecurities about her body.

‘My legs – I’m insecure about them. Everyone wants to have slim, perfectly toned legs and I’m the same,’ she tells Fabulous.

‘Being slim makes me feel better about myself. It boosts my self-esteem.’

And the 20-year-old says she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of cosmetic surgery in the future.

‘If my breasts started to drop, I might not like that,’ she says.

‘But for the next 20-25 years I’m going to stay as natural as possible.’

Rihanna is Popeyes Pretty

Rihanna grabs a nutritious meal from Popeyes in North Hollywood on Friday afternoon. She walked out of the restaurant carrying a soda and wearing bright red jeans and Louboutin ankle booties. (Unfortunately, the founder of Popeyes passed away earlier this year.)

Once again, the 20-year-old Barbadian beauty wore her love for the animated cartoon character Betty Boop (known for her over sexual appeal) on her t-shirt. This biker chick was BORN TO BOOP!

Rihanna checked out the Japanese streetwear store on Melrose Ave, A Bathing Ape.

Rihanna And Others Pick Up More VMA Nominations

We’re less than two weeks away from the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, but there’s still some business to take care of before the big show is beamed live from Los Angeles’ Paramount Pictures Studios on September 7. On Wednesday (August 27), MTV announced the nominees in this year’s “professional categories,” including Best Special Effects and Best Editing.

Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” is among the nominees in the Best Direction category, as are Panic at the Disco’s “Nine in the Afternoon,” the Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up,” Linkin Park’s “Shadow of the Day” and Erykah Badu’s “Honey.” Badu’s video was also recognized in the Best Editing field, with Death Cab for Cutie’s “I Will Possess Your Heart,” Weezer’s “Pork and Beans,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Ne-Yo’s “Closer” also getting nominations.

Teairra took offense to some comments Rihanna made to Atlanta’s Peach magazine regarding her dismissal from the Roc. Rihanna said, “You have to be good to people. I could very easily say its all karma…”

“They asked her how she felt playing second fiddle to me, which I never felt [she was]. She had the number-one song in the country on Hot 100; I didn’t, so she couldn’t be playing second fiddle to me. When I heard that I was upset, like, ‘Why would she ever go there? Keep my name out your mouth, sweetie.”

RiRi and CB Moving in Together?

Neither Rihanna nor Chris Brown has officially confirmed their much speculated romance, but more evidence keeps emerging that they indeed are couple. Following their many public appearances, both stars reportedly have moved in together.

Rihanna and Chris are reported to have been spotted hunting for a new Los Angeles condo, which they supposedly plan to share. Star magazine quoted eyewitnesses as claiming to have seen the alleged lovers viewing units at Beverly Hills’ luxury Sierra Tower for several times since July.

“She and Chris want to live together,” a source told the magazine. “They play their music loud though, so they want a condo that’s soundproof.” Star went on claiming that Rihanna is very serious about finding a house for her and Chris to live in together. She even has new listings e-mailed to her when she’s out of town.

Still there has yet comment from Rihanna, Chris, or their people about report on them moving in together. Amidst such talk, the pair were seen spending a quality time together, shopping at the Beverly Center in West Hollywood on Saturday, August 30. They apparently tried to hide from the spotlight, covering up their heads in hoodies.

T.I. & Rihanna to Perform Together at VMAs?

MTV has already announced T.I. and Rihanna as performers for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. However, we hear that in addition to her own solo performance of “Disturbia,” Rihanna will join T.I. for the first-ever performance of their collaboration “Live Your Life,” the new single off T.I.’s Paper Trail.

The 2008 MTV VMAs will air live on September 7th at 9 p.m. from Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood.

Check out the new all-star charity single “Just Stand Up” as recorded by 15 of the most well-known singers in anticipation of the Sept. 5 “Stand Up for Cancer” telethon.

The track, produced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and L. A. Reid, starts off with solos by powerhouse singers Beyonce and Carrie Underwood. You’ll later hear Fergie, Leona Lewis and Mary J. Rihanna waves to photographers as she heads out shopping in West Hollywood with her family while her BFF Chris Brown is out with his friends on Thursday.

The 20-year-old Barbadian beauty began a second week atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with her hit song “Disturbia”. David Archuleta’s “Crush” proved to be formidable competition as the best chart debut in over 18 months. Archuleta opened at No. 2 and sold 166,000 downloads in the U.S.
