Rihanna proved she is a girl after our own hearts after going on a £10,000 shopping spree in London last week. The Umbrella singer racked up the huge bill in just over an hour at London’s Harvey Nichols store.

Grazia reports that she picked up a black swing hem Alaia coat, several t-shirts and a pair of leggings by the Olsen twins label ‘The Row’. But that’s not all she also opted for pieces by Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs as well.

Credit crunch? What credit crunch? It seems the celebrity world hasn’t been hit by the financial crisis like the rest of the world.

British girl group Sugababes will be teaming up with powerhouse producers behind Rihanna and Beyonce Knowles‘ hit singles, according band’s member Keisha Buchanan. “We’re going to be working with producers who’ve worked with Beyonce and Rihanna so we’re really looking forward to next year,” she said in an interview.

In mentioning whom the band want to work with for their new album, Keisha also puts Cee-Lo on her wish list. “We’d also love to work with Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley - we met him when we were working with [US record producer] Dallas Austin and we’d love to do something with him,” Keisha stated. Feeding America and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced today that Def Jam artist and Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award-winning global superstar Rihanna will perform at an inauguration charity ball on January 20, 2008 in Washington, D.C. All of the proceeds from the RIAA inauguration after party will go directly to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization. The joint announcement was made today by Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, and Mitch Bainwol, chairman and CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Vicki Escarra said, “We are thrilled to have Rihanna’s participation in the inauguration charity ball.
