Japanese Summer Sonic festival has announced the first wave of confirmations for this year’s event. The list consists of 13 names so far, including Green Day, Rihanna, Sigur Rós and more.
Throughout the years bands and artists like Slipknot, Linking Park, Muse, Marilyn Manson, Avril Lavigne, James Brown, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga have performed at the festival.
The annual Japanese summer festival will mark its 13th year. This year it will be held on August 18 and 19 in Tokyo and Osaka. Tickets can be bought on the official website.
