Rihanna is nominated in 3 categories in this years BET awards, CONGRATS! The songs “Hard” and “Run This Town” have a nominee each, and those are “Viewer’s Choice Award” and “Video of the Year”. Rihanna is also nominated as “Best Female R&B Artist” and she shares the nominee with Beyonce, Mary J.Blige, Melanie Fiona and Alicia Keys.
The award takes place on Sunday, June 27 at 8/c at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. The show will be hosted by Queen Latifah.
The video director of many of Rihanna’s music videos, Anthony Mandler is nominated for “Best Video Director”.
