Many Rihanna fans are still confused because they don’t know who Matt Kemp is. Well, he is a Major League Baseball outfielder [baseball player] with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma and is 25 years old.

Matt made $5 million last year playing for the Dodgers where he won the Silver Slugger award for his hitting and the Golden Glove for his fielding. He is 6-foot-2 and is also known as “the Bison”.

How he and Rihanna met is still not clear. But they are rumored of have met backstage when Rihanna performed at Hammerstein Ballroom [Concert Presented By Myspace and Jetblue].

In other news, Matt is in Rihanna’s newest music video “Hard”. He is the third soldier in the beginning of the video.

Matt also followed with Rihanna all the way to Abu Dhabi, for Rihanna’s NYE performance. Now we know that Rihanna got what she wished for Christmas!
