Chris Brown’s Public Apology To Rihanna

Chris Brown’s official youtube account has uploaded a video of Chris explaining his situation to all fans and apologizing once again to Rihanna.

Here’s the whole speach that he said:

“Hi, I’m Chris Brown. Since february my attorney has adviced me to not speak out, even though since the incident I wanted to publicly express my deepest regret and accept full responsibility. Although I would do some interviews and answer some questions in the future, I felt it was time you herd directly from me that I am sorry. I have tried to live my life in a way that would make those aorund me proud of me, and until recently, I think I was doing a pretty good job. I wish I had the chanse to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I can’t. I cannot go into what happened, and most importantly, I’m not going to sit here and make any excuses. I take great pride in me being able to exersice self-control and what I did was inexcusable. I’m very sad and very ashamed of what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachings have taught me way better than that.

I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I am truly, truly sorry and that I wasn’t able to handle the situation better. I’ve done alot time soul searching, and over the last several month’s I’ve talked to my minister and my mother..and I’ve spent alot of time trying to understand what happened and why. I’ve let a lot of people down and I realized that. No one is more disappointed in me than I am.

No one is more disappointed in me than I am. As many of you know, I grew up in a home where it was domestic violence and I saw firsthand what uncontrolled rage could do. I have sought and am continuing to sek help to insure that what happened in february can never happen again. As I sit here today, I can tell you I will do everything in my power to make sure that it never happens again, and I promise that. What I did was unacceptable, 100%. I can only ask and pray that that you forgive me, please. I hope that others learn from my mistakes. I intend to live my life so that I’m truly worthy of the term “role model”.

    I believe that Chris meant it sincerely. I forgive him! And if Rihanna forgives him, we all his fans will have nothing to do but to also forgive for we do also believe that certain thing happens uncontrollable and can`t do ant thing about that rather to forgive the responsible person. So i have forgiven him.

    he knows his career is in meltdown, it was classic domestic abuse behavior, im sorry baby i shouldnt have done it, it wont happen again.
    thank god ri has more respect than to entertain him.

    I think Chris Brown apologized to his fans only b/c he knows that his career is on the line. He needs support from his fans, so they’ll go out and buy his albums, merchandise, vote for him, etc.., etc..

    I think his apology was a bunch of crap.His Cd isn’t coming out later this year hmmmmmmmmmmm. I watch the video and it looked like he reading u mean to tell me he couldn’t bring the apology from his heart then again what heart.His career is over & that’s why his apology is coming out now. Remember the pics taken of him on a jet ski after the assault he didn’t look sorry.

    he really meanz what he sayz.. n no onez perfect i forgive him and believe he shud be giving a second chance.. because when its all said n done he was man enough to admit that hez wrong and to publically apologise to riri… still love chris n his music.. (L)

    what?? we already kinda know what he did. people who make apologies and refer to everything as an “incident” seems kinda iffy to me.

    he should have said “hitting her was a wrong thing to do” or something like that. His apology was very vague and it didn’t seem real to me. It seemed like he was auditioning for a movie role.
