Rihanna Gives Impromptu Performance At New York Bar

What seemed to start as a quiet night on the town for the singer quickly escalated into an impromptu performance by Rihanna. According to People.com, Rihanna was chatting with a friend when her song with T.I., “Live Your Life,” came on. She reportedly got on the banquette, threw her arms in the air and began to sing along with the track.

“Everyone around the table went nuts like she was giving a performance or something,” an onlooker told People. “She obviously loved the fact that they played her songs.”

Earlier in the day, the singer was photographed on her way into a New York recording studio wearing purple Nikes, a Keith Haring-printed blank-and-white jacket and black leggings.

The pop star graced the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala in a tuxedo earlier this month. And since then, she has been seen around town shopping and partying with new friend Katy Perry.

As for the new friendship, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer has described Rihanna as a “good girlfriend.” “I pride myself on having cool chicks in my life, and she’s a cool chick. We’ve hung out a couple times,” she said. “Of course I consider her a friend.”

Rihanna’s re-emergence on the scene comes nearly three months after Chris Brown allegedly assaulted her at a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles. Though the couple briefly reunited after the altercation, it remains unclear whether Rihanna and Brown have called it quits for good.

   Chris Brown and Rihanna have not called it quits. They’re probably trying to make everybody think that they have, But I know they haven’t. HELLO!! They were seen together twice AFTER the incident that occured on the night of the Grammy’s. There were pictures, and even a video that showed that they were seen together. They both got off of the SAME PRIVATE plane. Why would they be on a PRIVATE plane TOGETHER if they are broken up???

   Yea those fools are still together. I call them both fools, because Chris Brown is a fool for hitting Rihanna, And Rihanna is a fool for staying with him.
