LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ — The following statement was issued by a spokesman on behalf of Chris Brown:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”

I’m glad one of them has released a statement…this makes me feel a bit better about the whole situation. I think he is truely sorry that it managed to escalate to this and I’m glad that he is seeking help whether it be guidance or whatever needs be. And at the same time he’s clearing up a lot of the rumors and speculation.

This is pathetic. When you assault someone, you don’t say you’re “sorry about what transpired”. You say sorry about what you did. Transpire means “to become known”. So he’s basically saying “sorry about what has become known”.
i think u should not charge chris brown because i know he didnt mean it .if u charge him alot of peole is going to be very mad and his family and fans.this would ruin his everything so please dont press charges
Ted, just to clarify what “transpire” means. It means to “happen or take place”. (The word was used in the correct context) I do believe that Chris is truly sorry but being sorry is not enough.
I still love them both and wish that they are able to overcome this obstacle.

i think that its pethetic too, but the thing is, if he says he’s sorry to her face and looks her in the eye, the thats what counts because then you know he’s not lying. and, yes, transpire was used on teh correct way. rihanna + chris just need to kiss and make up NOW. then we can all be happy get on with our lives instead of listening in on other peoples. because this is interferering in peoples private lives. so my point is kiss and make up soon please!!! i am fans of both of you and i dont wanna see either of you be in any big trouble, that would upset millions of people, not just me :’(
I’m glad someone released a statement but I still dont believe that he is truly sorry. I just want to see him say something on tv and I want riri to say something about it. I hope she moves on and does not go back to him.
