Speaking out for the first time since his son’s arrest, Chris Brown’s biological father, Clinton Brown, tells PEOPLE his son is at home, reflective and filled with concern.

“He’s reflecting on this situation,” Brown, 44, a corrections officer, tells PEOPLE in an interview at his home outside Tappahannock, Va. “He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay.

Even though what he did was wrong, I feel bad for Chris. The media is making it seem as if he really doesn’t care about Rih’s condition, but deep down he is probably so upset with himself and worried for her.

This whole situatoin is a sticky one.Sure i love Chris and Rihanna just as much as the nezt guy, but these alligations should’nt be taken lightly. We need to think deeper than celebrity and who will loose fans. Ultimately, if either of them have “true” fans they will continue to support their effort sregardless of their personal lives. They will stick around becasue they provide great music.I cant begin to express how shocked I was when i first heard of this whole thing. In my opinion it all comes down to what is right. If it were anyone else, we’d all want Rihanna to press charges, but because of the media and pressure we find ourselves in a message board war over who deserved/deserves what. I would love to see Rihanna and Chris remain friends considering this relationship may not be a healthy one, and apparently Chris is not showing any sort of compassion juding from the alleged Facebook jargon. I find myself confused when i read that chris is concerned for her health and hopes she’s o.k. Why couldnt anyone have cared enough to stick around and not run away? What would you have said if something worse happened to Rihanna in that car?! But like everyone points out, they were the only ones there and they know what truy happened. No matter who provoked who or who did what that night, it should have never escalated to that degree. No one deserves that.Rihanna will never be the same after this. No matter how many interviews, album releases or concerts, she’ll never be the same person she was and hour, a minute or even a second be fore the altercation and neither will Chris. It will be easy to forgive and make excuses for something like this, but stregth is shown when against all odds you do what is right for yourself and your future. Ive seen the Tyra interviews and i think this will hit Chris in a more psycological level. He has just put himself in the same category as the man who hit his mother. He has classified himself as an attacker, and Rihanna as the victim. Rihanna and Chris’ mother are in the same category now, I wonder what she feels. Its easy to accept the faults of others and call it “human”, but really is it? That was someones daughter, friend and hero you hit, not just someone who threw car keys out of a window or whatever actually happened. If Chris wasnt interested in being faithful to Rihanna, what will be will be. Letit go, be strong and do better. Remember who you are and why you are here.Years and years from now you wont be thinking about some love you had when you were 20, but you will always remember what happened that night, and how you overcame and grew from it.No matter what choices rihanna makes or what sentence Chris endures I am a fan. I will always be a fan because they are here living their dreams for the world to see, putting their lives and all they have on the line.I am here for the music and nothing else.I pray that both parties and overcome this issue and grow and become better from this. Its more than a headline on tmz, or a front page os Us Weekly, its their lives and their future- and thats what we need to remember.

I agree with some fan we all do things we arent proud of but u dont realize how much damage u can cause until it is to late i hope we give them the space and privacy they deserve and in due time Chris will forgive himself and we can all support them and not judge his character by this one mistake. No matter wat ill always support the both of them because thats wat bein a real fan means. Keepy our head up!
