TI is a major punk for his statement! He is just a criminal making excuses for another criminal. It is Rihanna he worked with over the years…and not even a “get well soon” to her from him?! TI should just go to jail already.

I couldn’t agree more. I am so sick of people making excuses for battery of a woman and blowing it off. A man is just physically stronger than a woman 99.999% of the time. It’s just not fair. He should have walked away. And he used his fist!! That’s why in my opinion Chris is a what you would call a boy without a father. His career is headed right down the drain. If he keeps it up he’ll be writing songs from jail with TI. And to think I used to think he was hot.

Hey Jenni & TK-755, yes I do not agree with what Chris did but I AM SICK OF PEOPLE BLAMING THIS SORT OF BEHAVIOUR ON SINGLE PARENTING! Listen there are all sorts of stereotypes such as “boys who don’t know their fathers will turn either into gunmen or become abusive”, or “girls who don’t know their father will look to dozens of men to fill that void and they’ll get pregnant early” and all of that crap. Well I’m a 15 year old girl from Jamaica, Caribbean, and let me tell you, it depends upon the mind set of the people, I’m not going around to any man because of the fact that I do not know my father . Majority of girls who do know their fathers still fornicate and some get pregnant at the teen-age and listen, if a boy doesn’t know his father or if his father was abuse, it would mean that that boy would try not to end like that and would be there. So stop the damn stereotyping!

Rihanna did a collaboration song with TI so why is it that he feels the need to go see about Chris? …..I haven’t heard anyone reporting that he went to see about RIHANNA, the victim. And yeah, TI is right people make mistakes and he’s human but HE’S WRONG for what he did. I hope TI told him that. No matter why it happened Chris is wrong for what he did.

This entire situation is sad. No matter what they were arguing about, no man has the right to put his hands on a woman. Men are physically stronger by nature and he should have known. We don’t know what happened, so it is hard to judge what provoked the incident, but one thing for certain, HE HAD NO RIGHT TO BEAT HER AND LEAVE HER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD LIKE ROAD KILL! I pray that justice is served here and that all parties will learn. I pray for them both to get help, but even more this this beautiful young lady. He knew she was a spokes person for a cosmetic company and she was a singer. He knew that…he was trying to ruin her, but I pray that she comes out on top and he goes to jail. Where are the brothers out there defending her honor? I’m sick of this.
