Rihanna: ‘I Don’t Take Comfort in Success’

Rihanna doesn’t take any comfort in her success. The Umbrella hitmaker, 20, insists she will keep on working hard to become even more successful. “It’s hard to take in how much success I’ve had, especially with Umbrella,” the singer says. “But I’m not satisfied and there’s no comfort in my success. I’m always on to the next big thing.”

And Rihanna – who is currently dating fellow singer Chris Brown – says she always has her “guard up” when it comes to men.

“I always have my guard up with men,” she tells Britain’s More magazine, “no matter who they are. There are people that love you just because you’re famous. But I’m good at reading people and I’m not naive. The longer I’m in this business, the more judgmental I am. I can’t deal with dishonesty. People often try to be your friend or get with you and then when you’re not in the spotlight, they don’t want to know.”
