Who here (assuming all here are Rihanna fans) was or still are a fan of Paula Abdul (back when she first appeared on tha scene as a new artist OR/and NOW that she’s an American Idol judge??

Paula, I think, played a major role in discovering Janet as the icon that she is today. She was tha 1 choreographing all of Janets videos, when she first appeared on the scene as a solo artist. So really, Paula influenced Janet . . . and now Janet is influencing several artists of today. (Therefore, in a sense, Paula too is influencing artists of today as well) However I don’t believe Paula should be tha 1 taking ALL of the credit for any artists’ (of the new millenium)success. Artists like Beyonce and Rihanna, especially, have defitnitely EARNED their right to be @tha level they are @ in their careers today.
Tru Paula has “left a mark.”
But that “mark” was left thru Ms Janet Jackson.

No…….Janet Damita Jo Jackson Inspired Rihanna and especially Beyonce. Paula was a big star, but….dont get me wrong….by no means should she be taking credit for that. Beyonce said her self she was heavily influenced by Janet.

Question: Who even heard of Paula Abdul b4 american idol? I doubt Ri came up to her and said I hope you don’t mind. Rihanna never mentioned this woman b4.
