Rihanna Bankrupt Rumors: Rihanna Broke

Oh snap! Rihanna’s broke as a joke. At least that is the story from the Barbadian-beauty’s recently ousted accountant, Patricia Williams. In this new tell-all interview, Rihanna’s now ex-business manager claims she was fired “for no good reason, all in ignorance” after she tried to tell the 20-year-old singer that someone has made off with the majority of her money.

Rihanna recently met with Willliams to check on her accounting affairs and was shocked to discover that almost all her money was missing-the “Take A Bow” star accused Willliams of “stealing her money.”

Patricia says:
“I’m a professional Business Manager, I have a staff of more than a dozen, I have worked for many high profile actors, musicians and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna?”

“I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered”

According to Patricia, Marc Jordan, who is Rihanna’s manager, has been mismanaging the star’s funds. “Def Jam doesn’t fund Rihanna properly, so Marc uses the money Rihanna makes from third-party endorsements and from tours to fund her album and music videos,” Patricia explains.

“I don’t want to disrespect Marc’s name. He is a fantastic manager and genuinely believes in Rihanna. But he uses her money to fund her future projects because he believes he can break her in the world-market. Her album sales are not nearly as close to her single sales and he knows that if she is only known as a ’singles artist’ she will only be as good as her last hit. Unfortunately, he didn’t inform his client and I’m receiving the brunt of it….”

Oh hush!! That’s crazy talk! Rihanna is not broke, and if she was(which she isnt’t) it wouldn’t be her fault it would be someone else, and he needs to go to jail forever(literally)! But she is NOT broke, and there’s no one to blame, especially not Rihanna(and there’s nothing to blame her for)! Oh and P.S - Williams lady, burn in hell for starting this rumor which is not true!

how can you be so sure. I read that because her albums are so close to come out and all these videos she has out,LA Ried has been using that money for all that stuff. Even her endorsements aren’t paying off. She doesn’t even write her own music. Idk but I semi believe this!

Professionalism has nothing to do with being slandered. Rihanna called her a thief & fired her. How bad do you think she look? As a person and as a professional handling people’s money. She have every right to defend her name and her company.

If you were Rihanna’s accountant and she upped and fired your ass and called you a thief. You’d probably lose your mind. Think about it. Take a bow, Rihanna.

demi, Patricia possibly released this information because she was being accused of stealing money/bankrupting Rihanna. If someone was slandering your name, shouldn’t you have the right to defend yourself?

And I doubt her coming out with info could damage her career, because she claims she worked with a lot of A-List celebrities, so her credibility cannot be shot just cuz Rihanna said so.

And if this is true, Rihanna needs to control how her manage is handling her promotions and career. Clearly Def Jam isn’t supporting her, but she shouldn’t have to support herself completely either

This doesn’t make sense. As her accountant, Williams would have been responsible to tell Rihanna the status of her money long before she got down to “broke-ass-poor” level. So even if she is telling the truth, she just proved herself to be an incompetent accountant.

This may very well be a rumor because it has not been confirmed. It was rumored for a while that Jay Z and Beyonce were getting married and it turned out to be true. Let’s hope that this rumor isn’t. Rumors are rumors until the head haunches speak.

Oh wow! I hope this isn’t true. Although it’s a “rumor”, lots of rumors have some truth within them. This should serve as a lesson that you can’t just trust ANYBODY. Use discernment.

“‘Take A Bow’ was bought through her money, the video was created with her money and so is her most recent video and single ‘Disturbia’. The label didn’t even want to pay a dime for anything! Close to 750,000 was spent on those two songs alone. And now she expects to see money in her account?”

It seems to me that right from the start,Rihana’s manager and accountants were not giving her any good advise or managing her accounts in the manner inwhich it was supposed to be handled in. First of all, all parties involved were stealing money from the start…. they saw that they were dealing with a very young, not very experienced in money management.. so both of you, grabed the bull by the head (so to speak) and ran with it…and in doing so…the results are what it is!!!!!! Shame on you for stealing from the very person that put bread in your mouth, kept a roof over you head…and provided the very leisure life that you become so accustomed too!
RIHANA is like me a Caribbean Girl…were very stong, career driven, a fighter and above all know how to get back up..dust ourselves off and go back in the ring with both hands swinging…

Bahama Java delite, how is it stealing her money when they are using it to FUND HER?

Clearly someone in the camp must have been inexperienced in dealing with this money if they probably allowed Rihanna’s funds to finance her WHOLE career……. if that’s the case the problem is really the RECORD LABEL and not Rihanna’s personal camp/manager.

Maybe Rihanna should be firing DEF JAM and move to a better label

There is always some truth, even in a rumor. Try this one on for size..Rihanna and Chris Brown had a fight here in Barbados and a gossip Column here called PUDDIN & sOUSE had it as the featured gossip….now this one is true fuh realll….
