The nominations for this year’s BET Awards were announced, on BEt 106 & Park.
Mariah Carey, Usher, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly are all scheduled to perform on the show in Los Angeles on June 24th, 2008.
Rihanna is nominated in “Best Female R&B Artist” along with Mariah Carey, Keyshia Cole, and Alica Keys.

Rihanna should get the BET award it is about time because she had amazing year but it will go to alicia keys I already now it. Video of the year would of been a possibility if she got nominated for it we need to pray guys so she can win it I love rihanna!!!!!!!!!!!

BET doesn’t really consider Rihanna’s music to be “R&B”, so i feel that if she wasn’t “Black” she wouldn’t even had landed that nomination. Therefore, she aint gonna get it.. Such a shame…
But, BET Awards is like the bottom of the barrel. I watch only b/c it’s usually the only thing on..
Now the MTV, & especially the Billboard awards.. Are more fair..
