Take A Bow Premiere· 16 Comments · Audio · |
Rihanna world premiered her latest single “Take A Bow” this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s “On Air” radio show on 102.7 KIIS FM Los Angeles. You can check out the lyrics to the ballad after the cut.
Rihanna - “Take a Bow” Lyrics
How about a round of applause
A standing ovation
You look so dumb right now
Standing outside my house
Trying to apologize
You’re so ugly when you cry
Please, just cut it out
[Chorus]
Don’t tell me you’re sorry cuz you’re not
Baby when I know you’re only sorry you got caught
But you put on quite a show
You really had me going
But now it’s time to go
Curtain’s finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertaining
But it’s over now
Go on and take a bow
Grab your clothes and get gone
You better hurry up before the sprinklers come on
Talkin’ about, girl, I love you, you’re the one
This just looks like the re-run
Please, what else is on
(Chorus)

According to the KISSFM site, GGGB will be re-released on May 27 with this new song.
What a great way to get us to buy the album again! *snark* But I’m sure it will come out as a single eventually…

I actually like the song a lot BUT some people are gonna say she’s trying to bite Beyonce’s irreplaceable song. Now before any of ya’ll try to attack me don’t get it twisted I think the song is good but it does have that irreplaceable type feel to it. Trust me ya’ll see what I’m talking about cause a few blogs are already talking about it and they are NOT nice. They should just give the girl a chance but hey it’s like she said let the haters be your motivators.

MissGin, I couldn’t agree more! RiRi herself said it best: Let the haters be your motivators.
While I much prefer her upbeat, poppy music, I do like this song. Better than Hate That I Love You.

Just found out that the song was written by Ne-Yo who ALSO wrote irreplaceable for Beyonce’ so that’s why it kinda sounds similar to each other. I need a copy without the talking over it. I hate songs like that but it will have to do until a clearer version is put out.

Yes, she will be re-releasing GGGB in May, with this great song… But it would be cool, if she can put new uptempo songs. That would be mmmm… RIHANNA RULES!!!

I am a rihanna fan, don’t get me wrong. Ilike the song. but a fan of rihanna I’m sort of wondering why she would put out a song so similar to the woman, people say she bites.if people are saying that rihanna is the carbon copy of beyonce. why doesn’t she choose different writers and dfferent topcs.? how can she set trends when she is basically following the trend of someone else? i don’t get it. all the critics are sayign she copies beyonce again. and i don’t blame them. if rihanna wants to move out from the shadow of beyonce, then i want her to try something different. no that you can’t have your influence. but you have to CREATEOR START A TREND. and i haven’t seen rihanna create anything except for doing thing sbeyonce has already done.IT’S THIS SIMPLY IF YOU DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO SAY YOU COPY BEYONCE, THEN DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!!!!

that is so true she needs to be original she seems to be original with her whole outlook whether it be her hair, clothing you name it but she needs to be rihanna not beyonce in her music and in all fairness I don’t agree with them taking the youth ambassadorship from one of our famous calysonians Gabby to give to her because calypso is our culture not pop and plus I am not please with her outrageous outfits on stage it is like she is advertising something and especially those provocative poses on stage like girating not a good example to teens that have her as an idol.

Rihanna is on top.
Music, Image, Fashion.
I love her, she has a great ear for music to put out.
Thanks Rihanna for staying positive, and making yourself a role .
You deserve all the success you are and will keep having.
And, “Take A Bow” one of my favorite songs you have done.
